When I was a kid growing up in #Haiku, I could hear the massive waves of #Peahi ( #Jaws) from my bed during some winter nights. Many tons of water crash against the rocks to makea rhythmic thunder. Standing on the cliff watching the waves, the cliffs seem to shake. Now, I can only describe riding these powerful waves as a kind of magic. #tbt
